Περί του Dies Academicus 2019

Η τελετή του Dies Academicus του Ινστιτούτου Μεταπτυχικών Σπουδών Ορθοδόξου Θεολογίας στο Ορθόδοξο Κέντρο εν Σαμπεζύ Γενεύης

Την Πέμπτη 17 Οκτωβρίου, έλαβε χώρα η παραδοσιακή τελετή Dies Academicus (επίσημη έναρξη του νέου ακαδημαϊκού έτους) του Ινστιτούτου Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών Ορθοδόξου Θεολογίας στο Ορθόδοξο Κέντρο του Σαμπεζύ Γενεύης. 
Μετά τον Αγιασμό και την ανάγνωση του μηνύματος της Αυτού Θειοτάτης Παναγιότητος του Οικουμενικού Πατριάρχου κ.κ. Βαρθολομαίου, ακολούθησαν οι ομιλίες του Μητροπολίτου Ελβετίας κ.Μαξίμου, Διευθυντού του Ορθοδόξου Κέντρου, του Αρχιεπισκόπου Τελμησσού Ιώβ, Κοσμήτορος του Ινστιτούτου, και των καθηγητών Franz Mali, Αντιπρυτάνεως του Πανεπιστημίου του Φριβούργου και Christophe Chalamet, Αναπλητωτού Κοσμήτορος της Αυτονόμου Σχολής Προτεσταντικής Θεολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου της Γενεύης. Εν συνεχεία διενεμήθησαν τα πτυχία Master of Arts Θεολογικών Σπουδών (ειδίκευση: Ορθοδοξία και Διαχριστιανικές Σπουδές) του Πανεπιστημίου του Φριβούργου και τα Πιττάκια  του Οικουμενικού Πατριαρχείου στους τέσσερις αποφοίτους αυτού του έτους, οι οποίοι είναι οι εξής: Γεώργιος Ζαχαριουδάκης (Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο), Λάζαρος Καλαϊτζίδης (Εκκλησία της Ελλάδος), Διάκονος Ευγένιος Καρακωνσταντάκης (Οικουμενικό Πατριαρχείο) και Χρήστος Ξηρός (Εκκλησία της Ελλάδος). Εκ μέρους των αποφοίτων και των φοιτητών του Ινστιτούτου ομίλησε ο Διάκονος Ευγένιος Καρακωνσταντάκης. Την τελετή τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους η κυρία Χαρά Σκολαρίκου, πρέσβυς της Ελλάδος στην Βέρνη, ο πρέσβυς κ.Παναγιώτης Στουρνάρας, Μόνιμος Αντιπρόσωπος της Ελλάδος στον εν Γενεύη Οργανισμό Ηνωμένων Εθνών, ο κ. Αθανάσιος Καφόπουλος, Γενικός Πρόξενος της Ελλάδος στη Γενεύη, μέλη Εκκλησιαστικών θεσμών της Γενεύης και πολλοί προσκεκλημένοι. Η τελετή ολοκληρώθηκε με το Πολυχρόνιον προς τιμήν του Οικουμενικού Πατριάρχου κ.κ. Βαρθολομαίου. Ακολούθησε δεξίωση στην αίθουσα τελετών του Ορθοδόξου Κέντρου του Σαμπεζύ.

La cérémonie du Dies Academicus de l’Institut d’études supérieures en théologie orthodoxe du Centre orthodoxe de Chambésy

La cérémonie traditionnelle du Dies academicus de l’Institut d’études supérieures en théologie orthodoxe a eu lieu jeudi 17 octobre 2019 au Centre orthodoxe du Patriarcat œcuménique à Chambésy (Genève). Après l’office de la bénédiction des eaux et la lecture du message de Sa Toute Sainteté le Patriarche œcuménique Bartholomée, des discours ont été prononcés par le métropolite Maxime de Suisse, directeur du Centre orthodoxe, l’archevêque Job de Telmessos, recteur de l’Institut, le vice-recteur de l’Université de Fribourg Franz Mali et le vice-doyen de la Faculté autonome de théologie protestante de l’Université de Genève Christophe Chalamet. Ensuite, a eu lieu la remise des diplômes Master of Arts en études théologiques (Spécialisation : orthodoxie et études interchrétiennes) de l’Université de Fribourg ainsi que des pittacia du Patriarcat œcuménique aux quatre lauréats de cette année : M. Lazaros Kalaitzidis (Église de Grèce), Diacre Evgenios Karakonstantakis (Patriarcat œcuménique), M. Christos Xiros (Église de Grèce) et M. Georgios Zacharioudakis (Patriarcat œcuménique). Au nom de tous les étudiants, le diacre Evgenios Karakonstantakis a prononcé un discours de remerciements. La cérémonie, à laquelle ont assisté des membres du corps diplomatique, des institutions religieuses de Genève et de nombreux invités, s’est terminée par le chant du polychronion en l’honneur du Patriarche œcuménique Bartholomée, puis avec un apéritif dinatoire a suivi dans la salle du Centre orthodoxe de Chambésy.

The ceremony of the Dies Academicus of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies in Orthodox Theology of the Orthodox Center of Chambésy

The traditional ceremony of the Dies academicus of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies in Orthodox Theology took place on Thursday 17 October 2019 at the Orthodox Center of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Chambésy (Geneva). After the service of the blessing of the waters and the reading of the message of His All-Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, addresses were delivered by the Metropolitan Maxime of Switzerland, Director of the Orthodox Center, Archbishop Job of Telmessos, Rector of the Institute, Prof. Franz Mali, Vice-Rector of the University of Fribourg, and Prof. Christophe Chalamet, Vice-Dean of the autonomous Faculty of Protestant Theology of the University of Geneva. Then came the distribution of the diplomas of Master of Arts in Theological Studies (Specialization: Orthodoxy and Inter-Christian Studies) from the University of Fribourg and of the pittacia of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to the four graduates of this year: Mr. Lazaros Kalaitzidis (Church of Greece), Deacon Evgenios Karakonstantakis (Ecumenical Patriarchate), Mr. Christos Xiros (Church of Greece) and Mr. Georgios Zacharioudakis (Ecumenical Patriarchate). On behalf of all the students, Deacon Evgenios Karakonstantakis delivered a speech of thanks. The ceremony, which was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, religious institutions in Geneva and many guests, ended with the singing of the polychronion in honor of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, followed by a cocktail in the reception room of the Orthodox Center of Chambésy.
